Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Each of the ten tree houses have been built on stilts, in the boughs of ancient mahogany trees, discreetly tucked away in the forest. The tree houses have been crafted from local timber and makuti (palm fronds) and feature large open decks and spacious rooms with large windows.
The lodge is located in the remote south-western region of the park, allowing for leisurely tracking of the park's famous tree-climbing lions and for unimpeded viewing of the flocks of pelicans, flamingos and buffalo cooling in the soda lake. The activities from camp, include game drives, walks around the area of camp, birding and picnics on the lake shore.
